COME JOIN US for the next Great Lakes Road Riders meeting on 5/21/2017. We’ll get started at noon at the Wrought Iron Grill in Owosso. See this thread for all the details, and to vote in the attendance poll so we can give the establishment an idea of how many of us they can expect.
Come join us as we explore the hillies and twisties in and around the southeast Ohio / West Virginia border region during the four-day Memorial Day weekend, Friday-Monday May 22nd-25th. That border region is famed for such routes as OH-555, also known as the Triple Nickel. The hillies and twisties in and around that border region as just as fun as the Deals Gap area of the Tennessee / North Carolina region, famed for such routes as the Tail of the Dragon, but with one major exception: the southeast Ohio / West Virginia border region is not nearly as popular or well known. That means one can ride for hours without encountering any traffic, whether it be cagers or other riders. Click here for more information (and see the later posts for some pictures from the trip!).
Come on out for another ride! Take the scenic route (or slab it) to get to Artesian Wells, enjoy some lunch, and then hop in the saddle again for a great route in the area, before heading home. Planned date is Sunday, 5/18. Click here for more details!
For those participating in the 2014 Landmark Ride event, this location is is in the vicinity of the Hidden Lake Gardens stop.
MARK YOUR CALENDARS: Sunday May 4th, 2014, enjoy coffee and donuts… visit with friends… tour the area. Begin the riding season here! Show off what you built over the winter! See this thread for more information.
